Weekend Rewind

So I am really behind on this blog already, this could be a bad sign!  I will try to catch you up on our weekend...sorry, no pics...Scott left the memory card at church on his other computer.

I had my first official, second unofficial, wedding to coordinate this past Saturday.  All in all I think it was a success.  There were no major disruptions and everything went pretty smoothly.  Now if all weddings can go that great I will be doing good!!  I was at the church from 12 until 6:30 Saturday, so my poor feet were very tired.  Who ever decided to have the fellowship hall down stairs and all the way on the opposite side from the Sanctuary definitely did not think things out!!  I probably ran back and forth at least 10 times, and yes, literally running most of the time!

While I was gone to the wedding, Scott was videoing another one.  He left straight from the wedding to go to Aberdeen to DJ a trail ride.  He has done this particular trail ride several times and always has fun.  I hate that I wasn't able to go with him!

After I finished my wedding I came home and propped up my tired feet.  Scott made it home right at 2 AM.  Sunday after church we both took a much needed nap!  Unfortunately I couldn't sleep, so I went to a friend's house to help her arrange her pictures.  She has a dark red wall and about 10 black and white pictures with black frames.  She also had the letters of her last name, which were also black.  That was a challenge, but it turned out looking really good!  I think I have an idea for what I want to do in our living room, of course I will change it up a little bit!

After offering my decorating expertise (ha ha!!) Scott and I went to Barnes and Noble.  We played a game of Scrabble, in which I got SLAUGHTERED!! (Pay back for the last time we played and I beat Scott majorly!)  Then we got a couple of Hannah's birthday presents.  I can't say what I got her in case she reads this!  After playing and shopping, we headed to Kyoto, which is a Japanese Restaurant and ate at the Hibachi Table.  After filling our bellies, we went home and I got to cleaning.  I was up until after 1 AM, wide awake and cleaning...kind of  odd for me.  I am usually barely able to hold my eyes open by about 9 or 10. Definitely made it hard to get up this morning!

That was our weekend....it was busy, but we managed to have a little fun!  Hannah's birthday party is this coming weekend, so we have a lot to do to get everything ready.  Hopefully it won't be so long before the next post!
